Wychmere Wedding | Cape Cod | Rachel + Brian

Brian and I went to the same high school, but he was three years older than me. The same age as my sister, Jessica. Jessica and Omar, a good friend of my sister and Brian, both had the idea to set us up. Brian reached out to me and invited me for a walk in the park with his dog (now our dog) Hawk! It went really well, he was a gentleman, and genuinely cared about my life and interest. We joke today that it was all because of Hawk. Going for ice cream afterwards, and back to Brian’s house for a fire in his backyard. We talked all night.

We both grew up going to the cape with our families. When we first started dating, Brian and I took our first trip to the cape together and it became a yearly tradition! Brian even proposed on Skaket beach. It is a very special place to us both.

We loved Wychmere for many reasons. Its right on the water, which was a must. We full in love with the ocean room and rooftop deck.

Honestly, every single moment. After a 3 year engagement and a pandemic, we couldn’t have been more excited to finally get married next to all of our family and friends! I think it made it that much more special. Getting everyone together after a tough year was truly so special. Not to mention we had top-notch vendors. We were blown away by every single one of our vendors.

First of all, I felt like I was friends with all of my vendors!
They really took their time to get to know us beforehand, which helped the day of the wedding.

 Faith was our officiant, she really brought a personal touch to our ceremony. We received so many comments on how personal it was, and truly made it that much more special.

Our videographer and photographer captured all of the perfect moments, from getting ready to the reception. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the final photos and videos! We feel like we can relive the day all over again.

Brooke and Sarah from Wychmere Beach Club were an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure everything for our Wychmere wedding on Cape Cod ran smoothly!

Our flowers were beautiful. Abigail from Designers touch handled everything, and we couldn’t be happier with how beautiful the ceremony and reception space was.

Last but not least, our band, Brick Park was a huge hit! They were terrific and really got the party going.
It even ended with Brian and I singing on stage at the end of the night!

For our favors we did heart seed cards!
Our guest can plant the heart seed card, and watch wildflowers grow!

Wedding colors were dusty blue, green, white.
