I was so excited to photograph Candice & Devin’s Cape Cod wedding from the very first email I received from Candice! She is so super sweet and Devin just adores her! I had so much fun photographing their engagement session at Dowses beach! I think I may have been looking forward to their wedding day as much as they were!!! Candice was a gorgeous bride, and her bridesmaids were all so beautiful in their different shades of rose gold, dusty rose, and mauve bridesmaid dresses. I loved the hints on gold & glitter that played a role throughout the planning, wedding colors & reception! Candice designed her own wedding invitations and made all of the beautiful hydrangea & Peony bouquets!
They were married at Christ The King Church in Mashpee, followed by a beautiful Country Club wedding at New Seabury. I am so happy to finally share some of my favorites from their wedding day! Q. What inspired you to have a Cape Cod wedding?
March 2016 Devin and I got engaged and about a month later he was told he was getting stationed on Cape Cod! I originally had thought about getting married in Hawaii or Florida, as a nice tropical wedding sounded amazing. But once we got settled in I started looking at venues all around New England and it reminded me of home (kodiak, Alaska) absolutely beautiful! I fell in love with the New Seabury Country Club and had to have our reception there!

Q. What was your favorite thing about your reception at New Seabury? What are some of the best memories of your wedding day?
Absolutely fell in love with New Seabury Country Clubs’ gorgeous view of the water and the beautiful chandeliers.
My parents suprised us with a Filipino “money dance” tradition and our balloon release towards the end were my favorites. Just enjoying everyone’s company as they all flew to celebrate our special day.
Q. What were some special touches / details for your wedding day?
Table numbers, name cards (wine corks, gold glitter, and personified names written) Bouquets, rose gold foil programs, and wedding favors ( bottle opener key with a cute note).
Q. What were your wedding colors for bridesmaids dresses and flowers. Any special wedding party gifts / favors?
Bridesmaid Flowers: white hydregrea with silver dollar ecuplytus accents
Brides bouquet : pink and white peonies
