Emily and Chris were married on Cape Cod on September 30, 2017. It was an amazing day for the sweetest couple! The rain cleared just in time for gorgeous photos at Sea Street beach, the amazing clouds were the perfect backdrop for the shades of navy, gold, grey and sage. Emily was stunning in her Mikaella wedding gown. Beautiful bouquets and florals were made by Seagrass Florals. Here are just a few of my favorites from their Sea View Cape Cod wedding day!

What inspired you to have a Cape Cod Wedding?
Emily grew up spending summers at the Cape with her family where her parents now live and Chris also grew up going to the Cape for vacations.

What was your favorite thing about your reception Venue? What are some of the best memories of your wedding day?
Our favorite thing about the venue was the location. It was across from the beach but also had a ballroom feel and an outside deck. Hotels along the venue made it easy for guests to walk over and walk back. Some of the best memories were the trolley rides before and after, see each other for the first time, our family happy and supporting us and everyone on the dance floor the whole time!

What were some special touches / details for your wedding day?
We made our own ceremony cards and welcome boxes for the church. Emily attached her great great grandmothers hankerchief to her bouquet, which was used by the past generations at their weddings, napkins, matches, hand made table cards, memory tree, guest book which was made on Etsy which was a map of the Cape and a heart where we got married, florals down by Seagrass florals, homemade cookies as favors from Emily’s Aunt who traveled from PA and is a family tradition.

What were your wedding colors for bridesmaids dresses and flowers. Any special wedding party gifts / favors?Sage green dresses with white flowers and green accents. The girls got robes with their names on them and matching Kate Spade earrings to Emily and the guys got Sperry gold up wing tips and fun nautical Jcrew socks.
