New Seabury September Wedding | Harris + Katie

Harris and Katie met freshman year at Lehigh University over a game of beer pong 🙂

Katie’s family has been vacationing in Popponesset her whole life and Katie and her dad have always talked about a New Seabury/ Popponesset wedding. Cape Cod is Katie’s favorite place and she and Harris have continued to visit despite living in Virginia. They both share a love for this special place!

New Seabury had the best of both worlds for a Cape Cod wedding – the beach and a beautiful golf course (Katie and Harris’s favorite activity together). Katie and her family have been going to NSCC her whole life and you cannot beat the view! It was so meaningful for their friends and Harris’s family to see this special place for them.

Being able to dance, hug and laugh with friends and family after a long few years of COVID was so special. 

Our oldest brothers officiated the wedding and it was so special. We had all immediate family members speak during the ceremony and our two best friends sign our ketubah. All wedding parties took a shot of tequila or rose prior to walking down the aisle!

The bridesmaid dresses were merlot / burgundy and the groomsen wore black tuxs. It was a great way to incorporate the start of fall with the greens of the golf course and blues of the ocean! The chuppah was white burch with greenery and a pop of color. As this was their first anniversary, Katie and Harris decided to do non-traditional gifts. Katie got a matching wedding band with saphhire incorporated and Harris a new golf driver 🙂
