We had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Allison and Joe’s beautiful summer seaside wedding in Newport RI a few weeks ago. It was a perfect September late afternoon wedding. Allison and Joe chose the gorgeous Belle Mer Island House for their perfect dream wedding, a stunning venue for their chic and romantic wedding on
beautiful Goat Island, Newport RI.
Allison and Joe had suites at theHyatt Regency Newport for getting ready then we walked over to the The Island House at Belle Mer. They had a touching 1st look before the wedding ceremony and family and wedding party photographs were done before the ceremony. The sky was cloudy, perfect for photography and lead up to one
of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen.
The couple exchanged their marriage vows on the beautiful lawn overlooking the harbor and the Newport Bridge just as the sun was beginning to set. Once they had their 1st married kiss and were announced the new Mr. & Mrs. Joe Hunt….we were off for some gorgeous Bride and Groom photos with the stunning Ivy wall, beautiful dock with some amazing yachts as the backdrop (and an amazing sky). The sunset started as a beautiful light pink….and as about 30 minutes past it became deep red then purple….the guests were in awe. Wendy and I were so excited and had so much fun capturing the gorgeous sky and the gorgeous people!
It was such a pleasure photographing Allison and Joe, and to see Allison’s family again (we photographed her brothers wedding at Kirkbrae Country Club few years ago). The staff at Belle Mer were simply amazing to work with! It was an absolutely perfect day from start to finish!
