I am so happy for Shannon and Evan! They have been married for almost two weeks!!! They are such a sweet couple. I met them almost three years ago, and I have been hoping to be able to photograph their wedding some day!
Shannon was a bridesmaid in Caitlin and Joe’s Cape Cod wedding, and then they were guests at two more weddings I photographed that year! I was so excited when they got engaged (while on a beautiful trip to Ireland).
I had been looking forward to their winter wedding at Birch Wood Vineyards in New Hampshire for so long, and it was absolutely beautiful!

Shannon was stunning in her Alfred Angelo wedding gown, from Thistle Rose Bridal in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

When was your wedding?
January 5, 2019, Birch Wood Vineyards, Derry New Hampshire

Where & How did you meet?

We met in 2003 in high school when Evan was a junior and Shannon a freshman. We are high school sweethearts who have dated for 13 years before getting married.

What inspired you to have a New Hampshire / Winter wedding?

We were inspired to have a NH wedding due to our love for the winter, snow, and the warmth of family and friends.

Why did you choose / What was your favorite thing about your reception Venue?

We wanted to have a rustic wedding. The modern flair of Birchwood Vineyards mixed with it’s rustic feel caught us right away and we knew this was the place for us.

What are some of your favorite memories of your wedding day?

Everyone together at once.

What were some special touches / details for your wedding day?

Catie Duffey – MOH – Tireless work to make sure that everything was perfect. Special details (Papa & Killian) to bring it all together
Cory Everett – Best Man – Helping keep the boys on track, best speech ever
Moms – Finishing touches, homemade crafts, all the little details that add up
Dads – Everything we asked for
Jo & Sunny – Shannon and Claudia’s hair looked amazing
Amanda Robitaille – You were amazing and helped us capture some of our best moments. Staying late and getting everything we wanted!
