Sea Crest Beach Hotel | Falmouth Cape Cod Beach Wedding | Allyson + Bryan

Allyson and Bryan had such a beautiful Cape Cod beach wedding just a few weeks ago, on June 9. Sea Crest Beach Hotel is one of the most amazing, dreamiest beachfront venues on the Cape, and known for always having amazing sunsets! One of my favorite special touches of the day was playing with Rizzo, the couples handsome Goldendoodle! I am so happy to share just a few of my favorite wedding photos from their wedding day!

Congrats Allyson & Bryan & Rizzo too!!! I can’t wait to see you guys again in the future!!! xoxoxo #cohenwiththeflow

From the Bride & Groom:

  • When was your wedding?
    June 9th 2019
  • Where & How did you meet?
Common nowadays, we met online! Our first date was in Fenway, rooftop in June with a great bottle of red wine and the rest is history! Most of our initial time spent together was in the Fenway neighborhood—going to Red Sox games and having dinners outside at Yard House and Citizens Oyster bar. We also spent many weekends on the Cape our first Summer, as my parents live in Plymouth, we would go down to see them and venture off to the Cape for adventures!
  • Where do you live?
    Fenway
  • What inspired you to have a Cape Cod wedding?
I’ve been in love with the Cape and all of the towns since my parents moved here part time from Chicago about 10 ++ years ago. My parents and I spent the summers exploring the beaches (Nauset being a favorite!) and exploring the islands too. Falmouth— and really the Sea Crest Beach Hotel and Old Silver Beach —became a favorite of mine when I ran the Zooma Cape Cod Half Marathon in 2015 and stayed at the Sea Crest. Instantly I fell in love with the calm beach, warm waters, stunning sunsets and great food! I knew the Sea Crest was special but at the time I didn’t know exactly how very special it would become for us! ❤️
  • Why did you choose / What was your favorite thing about your reception Venue?
Our favorites about the Sea Crest to list a few:
    – Proximities to the beautiful beach! Our ceremony was on the beach and our cocktail hour and reception had stunning views of the beach and ocean!! Our guests didn’t have to walk far (or at all!) for the amazing views all day and night!
-They are dog friendly!! That was a must have for us and hard to find!
    -The SUNSETS
-We loved having a beach bonfire the night before our wedding — it was a total blast
-The food was outstanding, and Chef even made us the best buffalo chicken Mac and Cheese we have ever had for our big day!
-We instantly clicked with Julie our coordinator, and the entire staff at the Sea Crest. They feel really like family and we just can wait to go back soon!
  • What are some of your favorite memories of your wedding day?
The weather was perfect that day, 70 and Sunny, and we had seriously the best day ever with our close family and friends. Our vendors really set the space and vibe that made the day so much fun. As I was leaving the reception, I told all of our vendors and the Sea Crest staff that I would want to repeat this all again next year with everyone! I wouldn’t change a thing!
  • What were some special touches / details for your wedding day? Please include your vendors for all of these details.

Judy from All About Flowers made the perfect beach wedding arch that I dreamt of, and flowers for the girls bouquets and tables! Peonies in the white and pink shades were so lovely mixed with hydrangeas that gave the perfect nod to the Cape!

Mark form 2Way Entertainment was sooo much fun to work with! He captured our vibes seamlessly throughout the day and night that I could not stop singing along, and Bryan and I literally danced every song until it was all over! We even had a “secret last dance song” that just Bryan and I danced to in the room alone, as our guests were outside setting up for our sparkler send off!

Best cake ever in design and taste! – our Funfetti wedding cake with sea glass candy and our Adirondack cake toppers, by Lisa—Delicious Desserts.

Rizzo our mini goldendoodle was our ring bearer ❤️

  • What were your wedding colors for bridesmaids dresses and flowers. Any special wedding party gifts / favors?
The Bridesmaids dresses were from Azazie in the color Azalea. I know it’s a bright color, but bright pink has always been my favorite color since I was a young kid and it’s stuck on me as my favorite my entire life!
I know so many brides choose blushes and light blues, but I had to stick my gut and go with what I have always loved! I really think by mixing the light pinks, whites and navy suits it was perfect. The colors to me made the day so happy, fun and bright.
